Dr. Sivan Shlomo Agon is a faculty member at Bar-Ilan University Law School. Previously, Dr. Shlomo Agon was a Fulbright Scholar and Emile Noël Fellow at NYU, and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the ERC Globaltrust Project at Tel-Aviv University Law School. Dr. Shlomo Agon holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an LLM from Northwestern University, and an LLM and LLB from Tel Aviv University. Her main areas of interest include international economic law, international courts and dispute settlement, and empirical legal studies. In her recent works Dr. Shlomo-Agon has addressed questions related to justice, legitimacy and judicial effectiveness in the context of international courts, while focusing on the WTO dispute settlement system and combining legal theoretical analysis with qualitative research methods.
