Geoff is a Senior Researcher in Public International Law at the T.M.C. Asser Institute in the Hague, and a former assistant professor in the Transnational Legal Studies Department at the Vrije Univeristeit Amsterdam, where he was Co-Director for the interdisciplinary master’s program, Law & Politics of International Security. He holds a JD from Columbia University, and earned his PhD at the VU, where he remains an associated researcher with the Centre for the Politics of Transnational Law. His research interests include an ongoing project exploring the co-production of standardized time and transnational law, and he currently is an Editor for the International Legal Theory section of the Leiden Journal for International Law.
